The Trials: Congrats Kara!

Kara Goucher took Eugene, OR and the 2008 Trials by storm, bringing home a gold medal in the 5000m and a silver in the 10,000m. Her standout performances secured her two coveted spots  on the Hardest Team to Make.

First off all I want to congratulate you on all of your success and Good Luck with your upcoming races. I am so excited to see you run at the Games. I wanted to thank you and let you know what a positive inspiration and influences you have had on my life through out the past 2 years. Whenever I am having the difficult days where it seems as if all is lost I just search for one of your interviews and you motivate me to get back up on my feet and stop feeling sorry for myself. I am sure every runner has an idol no matter what level they are at, and you are mine.  So keep up the good work!!! And keep Believing in yourself because obviously believe does work!!!
