WHEN: December 6, 2008

THE WEEKEND: A trip to the Nike Cross Nationals is a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Runners will spend time with Nike Elites, hang out in a rock star hospitality suite, decorate their team vans and cap off the weekend with the athlete dance.

THE COURSE: For the fifth year in a row, the National meet will be held at the Portland Meadows Race track.  Complete with signature whoopdy-doos, hay bails, and of course plenty of mud, the course represents real cross country, and the runners who rise to the top on this course will be real cross country champions. THE OPEN RACE: Want to preview the course for when you vie for the title next year?  There will be an open race preceding the championship races for any young harriers who want to take a bite out of Portland Meadows and plunge through the mud pits. Register here if you’ve got what it takes.
