What happens when you pit the best high school cross country runners against one another in the ultimate championship? You get one heck of a race. Nike Cross Nationals 2008 was just that.

For the fifth year in a row, Nike Cross Nationals 2008 welcomed the best men’s and women’s high school teams from Kenya in the Open Race.

Nike Cross Nationals, originally called Nike Team Nationals (NTN), evolved as the result of several ideas. “Cross country is the ultimate team sport,” said Josh Rowe. “In no other sport is your number five man the most important.”

A trip to the Nike Cross Nationals is a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Runners will spend time with Nike Elites, hang out in a rock star hospitality suite, decorate their team vans and cap off the weekend with the athlete dance.
